Clinical Supervision For LMSWs and LGPCs

Are you looking to improve your clinical skills? Do you wish you had a better supervisor?

Maybe this sounds like you. Do you receive supervision as part of your job, but feel it isn’t all that helpful? Do you feel like you want just a little (or a lot) more confidence in your work? That was me too! Out of grad school, I took a job that included clinical supervision, but it wasn’t consistent and didn’t build my confidence or my skills. It took me years to build up my confidence as a skilled clinician even after I was an LC!

Now, I work with therapists who are independent and good at their jobs, but are looking for better support and want to refine their skills. I also work with therapists who no longer need hours for their clinical supervision, but who still need a supportive, listening ear and want to feel they are really solid at their job.

What You Can Expect:

I use a strengths-based, encouraging and understanding approach to supervision, where I strive to draw out your strengths, while also offering guidance in areas that need more attention. If you’re a clinician who likes structure, I got you with worksheets and direction! If you’re a clinician who is ready to jump in and talk through cases, I’ll let you take the lead and ask great reflection questions.

I specialize in strengthening your boundaries with clients, firming up policies, working through ethical dilemmas, creating more work/life balance and processing work trauma. I meet with clinicians weekly and am consistent with my appointments.

About Me:

I have been a Board-Certified Clinical Supervisor since 2019 and have provided group and individual supervision for Licensed Masters Social Work (LMSWs) and Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPCs). I attended the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work and graduated in 2015.

I have worked in many settings, including schools, group homes, group practices for outpatient care, mobile treatment and on an ACT (assertive community team) both in-person and virtually. I currently hold virtual and walk-and-talk sessions for my clients. I have worked with children, teenagers, young adults and middle-aged adults. I am certified in trauma-informed modalities. I typically pull from CBT, DBT, ACT and trauma-practices, including EMDR and somatic and art modalities.
